Frequently Asked Questions

Q: May I use information from your site?
A: Use anything you like. The word of God is 'public domain', and our interpretation of scripture certainly is also!

Q: What does pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib mean?
A: These are terms that people use to describe their views on 'when' the rapture takes place. Pre-trib is short for pre-tribulational, mid-trib for mid-tribulational, and of course, post-tribulational. We believe in the pre-tribulational rapture, as this viewpoint does not require one to cut-and-paste in order for it to make sense. View our article on 'Why A Pre-trib Rapture?'.

Q: What is the Millennial Reign?
A: For a quick answer, this is the 1000 years that Jesus Christ will reign as king upon 'this' earth. Satan will be bound during this time and people will have a chance to live full, mortal lives without satanic influence. The bible describes this time as one of peace such as the earth as never before seen. During this time, the lion will lay down with the lamb. However, what we will learn from this time is that, despite no influence from Satan, the heart of man is still evil. People will still live to reject Christ as their lord and savior. The Millennial Reign will begin very shortly after the end of the 7-year tribulation period.

Q: When does the battle of Armageddon take place?
A: The battle of Armageddon will take place at the very end of the tribulation period, before the start of the Millennial Reign. To use the word 'battle' is to use it very loosely, as there really will be no fight to speak of. This so-termed battle is actually the antichrist's last attempt to defeat the coming savior, Christ himself, who will literally 'speak' utter destruction upon the gathered forces of the antichrist and his false prophet. This account can be read in Revelation 19:11-21. The battle of Armageddon is not to be confused with the last battle, the battle of Gog and Magog, which will take place at the end of the Millennial Reign.

Q: How do we know Christ's return is soon?
A: It is true that every century since the death of Jesus, the world has been plagued by war, famine, and harsh times, but the key 'sign' is that of the reformation of the state of Israel. Luke 21:29-32 ASV And he spake to them a parable: Behold the fig tree, and all the trees: (30) when they now shoot forth, ye see it and know of your own selves that the summer is now nigh. (31) Even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh. (32) Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all things be accomplished. Israel was always spoken of as the fig tree in scripture. For a better understanding, read the entirety of Luke 21, because this is precisely the question the apostles asked of Jesus!

Q: Why is Israel the center of everything in the news? It seems that Jerusalem just might cause World War 3! Will it?
A: Do not be afraid of what is happening in Israel. The bible predicted this would be the case! Zechariah 12:1-3 ASV The burden of the word of Jehovah concerning Israel. Thus saith Jehovah, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him: (2) behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling unto all the peoples round about, and upon Judah also shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem. (3) And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it. To be certain, Jerusalem is a burdensome stone to all the world at present. True, the US remains an ally of Israel, but once the rapture occurs, the Christian conscience of this nation will be gone, and the US, too, will jump on the bandwagon against Israel. Should we worry about World War 3? If we think of WW3 as being 'nuclear' in scope, with mass destruction and termination of great masses of humanity, we should consider that God is returning for his bride - and soon. He is not returning for his radioactive bride, nor is the antichrist going to form a world empire out of post-war savages. Israel will continue to stand until the end, which leads us to reason that there is no way God will allow a nuclear war against Israel, or at present, her only ally. Conventional wars, now that's another story. Look up! While Israel's calamity is starting, it only means her deliverance is in sight! Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
